Submissions

All entries are to be submitted via the Entry Form located here.

Any entries submitted via any other means will be void promptly discarded. These include:

• email
• forum posts
• any means aside from the submission form

Entries submitted after the October 15^th will be considered ineligible. No exceptions.

The current types of comics will not be considered for finalists in the Webcomic Idol competition:

• Sprite Comics
• Fanart Comics
• Adult-oriented ("pornographic") Comics

Judges/Judging

Judges and BSC Members will decide on the top 10 finalists for the competition based on the following:

• Art
• Writing
• Layout
• Originality

Judges are free to promote, through their own sites, any comics/creators from this competition that they see fit.

Contestants are free to give feedback via the forums on anything the judges say about their comic.

Voting

The five contestants with the highest vote count will be eliminated during the first round of public voting.

Voting will then continue on a one-contestant-per-week elimination.

At the end of every round (except the first round and last two), judges will take the three comics with the highest vote counts and decide which contestant will be cut from the roster.

Voters will be voting for the comic they want out of the contest.

Elimination

Eliminations will be handed out under one of three conditions:

• Judges have cut them from the roster during the end of the round Roundtable.
• Contestant is caught cheating/coercing others to cheat for his/her benefit.
• Contest does not update per their set schedule for an extended period of time
  • Certain circumstances are, of course, forgivable

Eliminated comics, regardless of parting reasons, will still be shown the following courtesy:

• Objective review in the forums
• Objective review on Bomb Shelter Radio
• Offered the opportunity to be on Bomb Shelter Radio
